XD-2 BR

Multipurpose detector

XD-2 is a multipurpose wired detector, which can operate with any alarm control panel. XD-2 can work as: magnetic contact, shock detector, shock detector and magnetic contact, and water flood detector.

XD-2 can also work outdoors, even during adverse weather conditions, if placed inside the OPX-1 enclosure. When XD-2 is installed outside to work in one of the modes which require to use the magnet for proper operation, the OPXM-1 (magnet in a hermetic enclosure) must be used.

It is available in white (XD-2), brown (XD-2 BR) or dark grey (XD-2 DG).

  • option to select detector type with DIP switches
  • mode of operation:
    • magnetic contact:
      • detection of opening of a door, window, etc.
      • input for connecting an NC type wired detector
      • 1 alarm output
    • shock detector:
      • detection of shocks and vibrations accompanying attempts to force a door or window
      • input for connecting an NC type wired detector

    • shock detector and magnetic contact
      • detection of shocks and vibrations accompanying attempts to force open a door or window, etc.
      • detection of opening a door, window, etc.
      • input for connecting an NC type wired detector

      • detection of flooding in rooms with plumbing
      • input for connecting external flood probe FPX-1 (white), FPX-1 BR (brown) or FPX-1 DG (dark grey) - the probe available separately
      • 1 alarm output
  • LED indicator
  • remote enabling/disabling of LED indicator
  • supply voltage control
  • tamper protection against enclosure opening and removal from mounting surface
  • 2 magnets included (for surface and flush mounting)
